Relevant Coursework

During my time as a student at the Pennsylvania State University, I took a plethora of courses geared towards analyzing and critiquing written works. I undertook a concentration in Creative Writing, which allowed me to additionally hone my own writing skills as well. Additionally, I took a course titled "The Editorial Process", in which I studied copyediting, proofreading, content editing, and research editing. I became familiar with the most recent edition of the Chicago Manual of Style, and learned to edit according to its guidelines.
